Heading off to university doesn’t mean living off instant noodles and takeaways… not on our watch. At Winchester cookery school our back to uni class is designed to give students the confidence and skills and go to recipes they actually need for real life. Whether its cooking on a budget, prepping meals in advance or impressing new housemates this class covers it all with a fun, relaxed and hands on approach.

CLASS INCLUDES - eating ( obviously ) soft drinks/ tea/coffee available throughout the day

Day 1 - INTRO - basic knife skills / Food safety - Soups/Sauces/One pot pastas

Day 2 - ULTIMATE BREAKFAST IDEAS & ONE TRAY WONDERS - hangover and healthy ( masterclass in eggs ) & one tray wonders, oven cooking, seasoning properly, zero stress cooking

Day 3 - FAKEAWAY NIGHT ( how to beat deliveroo prices ) wraps, quesadillas, katsu curry, stir frys and more…

Day 4 - MEAL PREP - batch cooking, portioning, storing meals. Understanding & cooking vegetables, potatoes & protein

Day - 5 BAKING & DESSERTS

9.30am - 5pm - with a lunch break
